Continue with Google login experience when SSO is enabled

This article explains how Single Sign-On (SSO) works with our platform and what to expect when it's enabled for your organization.

How SSO Works

When SSO is enabled for your organization, all users must authenticate through your Identity Provider (IdP). This means:

  • All authentication is handled through your organization's IdP (such as Google Workspace, Okta, etc.)

  • Email/password and one-time passcode login methods are disabled

  • If your IdP requires 2FA, all users will need to complete that step

User Login Experience

When a user attempts to log in, they will be automatically redirected to your organization's IdP for authentication, regardless of which login method they choose:

  • If they enter their email address, they'll be redirected to the appropriate IdP

  • If they click "Continue with Google," they'll still be directed to your organization's configured IdP if it's different from Google

Note: Once SSO is enabled, it becomes the only authentication method available for your organization. Make sure your IdP is properly configured before enabling SSO.

Setting Up SSO

To configure SSO for your organization:

  1. Contact our support team to enable the SSO feature

  2. Have your IdP administrator available to assist with the configuration

  3. We'll guide you through the necessary setup steps for your specific IdP
